What good is snow if you don’t have fun with it? Bundle up, put on your snow pants, grab your sleds and join us for our January BEATS Community as we go sledding together on Saturday, January 30th, from 1pm-3pm. If you have kids, have them come along. It’ll be good!

This small group is for all who are interested in sharing a meal together (EAT) and diving deeper into the Sunday message by engaging with questions that help us to apply the scriptures to our lives (TEACH).

This Sunday, 1/17, we will NOT having a regular Roots worship gathering. Instead, every year, on MLK weekend, we have the amazing opportunity of worshipping God together as 4 different churches reminding us that God’s kingdom is so much bigger than just Roots! We will be worshipping with First Covenant Church, the Haitian Christian Fellowship, and the Followers of Christ Hmong Baptist Church in our Joint Worship Gathering. You are invited to join us for a Christmas Eve Gathering in the Hamline-Midway Neighborhood to celebrate the birth of Jesus! We will hear the Christmas story and sing carols in different languages. It will be a wonderful way to kick-off Christmas! All are welcome! This is a family-friendly worship gathering, so no childcare is provided. Roots will be caroling in the neighborhood one week before Christmas! We’ll meet at Central Lutheran School at 6pm and walk throughout the neighborhood to spread the joy of Christmas. In addition, we will be inviting our neighbors to our Christmas Eve Gathering on 12/24. Friends and family are welcome to join us!
