Combined Worship Gathering with Third Way Church

This Sunday, Roots Covenant will be joined for worship by Third Way Church, a sibling congregation in the Midway neighborhood. They are a Mennonite congregation and Roots is a Pietist congregation, but we are both Jesus congregations! While we may have different traditions, we share the common faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1.3). Pietists and Anabaptists not only share a common emphasis on the centrality of Jesus, but also share emphases on counter-cultural practices of peace, justice, and discipleship.…
