Praying Together

In this message, Pastor T. C. shares about his journey into understanding prayer as formative and collective. As we continue in the Journey Together series, forming Journey Groups, this will lay an important foundation.

Exploring Scripture Together

One of the reasons why reading Scripture together in community is important is because in it we locate ourselves in the on-going story of God renewing all things. Another reason is that the diversity of the body of Christ helps us to understand the Scriptures from multiple angles, revealing more of the beauty and complexity of the God Scripture reveals.

Community Discernment

Continuing in the “Journey Together” series, in this live message, Pastor T. C. teaches on the topic of “Community Discernment” from Acts 15.

Life-on-Life Sharing

In this first message of the “Journey Together” series, Pastor T. C. grounds the series 1 Thessalonians 2 where the apostle Paul compares his ministry among the Thessalonians to familial relationships like a mother and father. Paul writes, “Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” This week’s topic is Life-on-life Sharing.

In this Epiphany homily, Pastor T. C. draws out two themes from the story of the Magi who visit the child Jesus in Matthew 2. The first theme is Cultural Appropriation vs. Cultural Admiration. The second is “returning home by another way.”
